Help Elene Achieve Her Berklee Dream
Donation protected
When the words "Welcome to Berklee," lit up the screen of Elene's laptop, the excitement could hardly be contained to the small apartment in the old neighborhood of Tbilisi. Yet, the joy was short-lived as the tuition bill loomed over her for the next nine months. Elene deferred her admission to the class of Fall 2021 till May 2022. Despite her determination to raise the funds – by contacting every possible private and governmental organization in Georgia and internationally, and taking on several part-time jobs – the number was simply too high. So by the end of April, Elene had to click the "reject the offer" button.
But Elene was not ready to give up her dream of attending Berklee and, more importantly, pursuing music. In November of 2022, she applied again and that same December "Congratulations" lit up her screen once again; this time with a merit scholarship – unprecedented for an international applicant to the most competitive department at Berklee. Although Berklee recognizing Elene's potential and talent gave her another chance, the scholarship does not cover the full expenses of attending college.
Through hard work and determination, Elene has already covered the expenses for the first 3 semester of her study. However, she needs more to able to cover the expenses for her last two academic years. Any amount counts!
Help Elene graduate from her dream school and pursue her passion for music.
