Help Eleni Rebuild After Wedding Day Fire

On what was supposed to be the happiest day of her life, my dear friend, former colleague, and president of the ARTSiE board, Eleni Vrettos, experienced an unimaginable tragedy. While celebrating their wedding, she and her new husband, Tom, lost their home in Cicero, Illinois, to a devastating fire.

This home was more than just a house—it was where Eleni grew up, where she and Tom had moved in to start their new life together, and where the family had built countless memories over the years. Now, they have lost everything including their beloved cats.

To make things even more difficult, they were in the process of remodeling and transferring home insurance, so they have no coverage to help them recover from this devastating loss.

We are setting up this GoFundMe as a lifeline to help this family begin to rebuild through this incredibly difficult time.
