Help Elesha Go To Howard

My name is Elesha Williams. I am from New Orleans, Louisiana. I graduated from G.W. Carver High School on May 20, 2019. In high school, I was involved in many sports and clubs. I even won the title “Ms. Carver”, homecoming queen. I took dual-enrollment courses at the local community college while still in school and earned six college credits. I was also a part of College Track New Orleans, which is a 4+ year program that takes high school kids and helps them realize their full potential.
This upcoming fall, I have hopes of attending my dream school, Howard University. Getting accepted into Howard University was a huge accomplishment for me. Attending Howard University will help me pursue my life-long dream of becoming a trauma surgeon. I am a first generation college student. Graduating from high school has always been a huge priority in my family but I want to do much more. I want to be able to attend Howard University, major in Biology, and walk across that stage in 2023 with my B.S.
I’ve received a generous scholarship package from Howard but I still have a large gap in my funds. College Track will provide me with an additional scholarship but only if I can reduce my gap in funds by $3,500. Raising this money would mean that I am able to unlock additional scholarship money from College Track and attend my dream school. If you could contribute anything to help me reach my goal of $3,500, I would be truly grateful.
