Help Eli & Nicole Johnson’s Family After Palisades Fires
Donation protected
On January 7th, my brother Eli and his wife Nicole, along with their children, Tristan (19) and Presley (16), lost their home in the devastating fire that swept through the Pacific Palisades. Their home of 11 years was reduced to ashes within minutes, leaving them facing an uncertain and overwhelming future.
The loss of their home in the community they cherished is incomprehensible. It was reflection of the life they had built together. While they have always valued being self-sufficient and asking for help isn’t easy, we have encouraged them to allow their friends, family, and community to help in any way they can during this unimaginable time.
Eli and his beautiful daughters were born and raised in the Palisades. He and his family have been a vital part of this community for nearly a century. Many will know him as “The Tree Man,” of The Johnson Tree Company, https://johnsontreecompany.com/ that was founded by his grandfather in 1925; Eli took over the business when he was 18. Those familiar with the area may recall the green and yellow Johnson Tree Trucks – as well as Eli’s red hair! With his big heart and kind soul, he is already thinking of how he can be a part of the Palisades clean-up, utilizing his trucks and relevant resources to treat the sick trees and tend to the remaining brush.
The road ahead is long. Eli and Nicole are focused on supporting their children through this trying time and building a new sense of stability. While they are uncertain as to what the future holds, they remain both positive and hopeful.
We are asking for your support to help ease their burden. Your generosity will give them the ability to focus on what matters most: healing and moving forward together.
On behalf of Eli, Nicole, Tristan, and Presley, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You’re helping them gain the strength they need to move forward.
With love and gratitude,
