Help Elise & Ross Rebuild in Altadena after Eaton Fire Loss

Home is a most sacred space and our hearts are heavy for our dear friends Elise and Ross, who, along with so many, tragically lost theirs to the ongoing Eaton Fire. As Elise said, it was “the most perfect home”— the home where she and Ross, along with their sweet pups Ginny and Hugo, hoped to grow old together.

On Tuesday night, relentless winds and what they thought was a distant fire drove them to a nearby hotel. They left with nothing but a small bag of clothes not imagining that the fast-moving fire would prevent them from returning to collect valuables. In a matter of hours, they received word from a neighbor that their forever home was completely gone. Their beautiful neighborhood, their most beautifully curated home, the many treasured family heirlooms and keepsakes… all of it lost.

Always so welcoming, inclusive, and willing to help others, Elise and Ross now need our love and support more than ever.

While the warmth and resilience of the precious and historic Altadena community remain strong, the future for all its residents is uncertain and the need is overwhelming. We hope with your help, Elise and Ross will be able to get back on their feet with some basic necessities and comforts. Once they’ve begun to build back, they hope to allocate what’s left to community funds to help restore the lives of their fellow neighbors and businesses who have also lost so much.

We know there is an unprecedented need across Los Angeles, and the outpouring of loved ones and strangers wishing to show their support for Elise and Ross has been truly touching. Every little bit helps and will be more than they have now ♡.
