Help Elissa Gaus handle breast cancer

Hi,

My name is Stephanie Tippett. My husband is Matt Tippett. He’s a stagehand/ rigger/ etc. In that industry, he has the opportunity to work with some really amazing people. One of those amazing people is Elissa Gaus. I’ve not had the pleasure of meeting her, but, I’ve heard she’s literally one of the hardest working, and kindest people out there.

She found out this year that the extreme pain in her breast is actually cancer. Of course, there was some stalling in tests, and now it’s spreading. There is some uncertainty surrounding the ownership or the home that her and her fiancé Hunter share, and, as if that wasn’t enough already, she’s lost a child to cancer already.

Let’s do the amazing thing that humans can do and donate to help soften the blows these guys are going through. We all know stagehands are hard working and not rich. Hospital bills aside, the amount of copays, parking tickets, days spent not working, meals eaten on the fly….. it all adds up so quick.

Elissa has been working despite a huge amount of pain in her body, and, I’m sure her heart. Let’s make Christmas warm and comfy for these guys please!
