Help Elizabeth Burnett in Her Fight Against Leukemia
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
We are reaching out to you today to share the story of an incredible woman, friend, and sister: Elizabeth “Liz” Burnett, a vibrant 29-year-old who was recently diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Liz is someone whose creativity, warmth, and intelligence light up the lives of everyone around her. A passionate roller skater, a renaissance fair enthusiast, a loving partner to Noah and dog mom to her adorable puppy named Honey. Liz embodies the joy of living life to the fullest.
After spending two years supporting both of her parents through their own battles with cancer, Liz was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), a life-altering and challenging condition. Just this past July, she was transferred to a hospital four hours away from home to begin urgent and aggressive chemotherapy treatment.
To make matters worse, we have learned that, due to insurance complications, some of Liz's medical bills will not be covered. This will leave Liz facing medical bills at the very moment she needs to focus on healing. The combination of her treatment costs, everyday living expenses, and her inability to work is creating a financial burden that no one battling for their life should have to endure.
Today, we are asking for your help. We invite her friends, family, and anyone who has been touched by this story to join us in supporting Liz during this challenging time. Every donation will go towards covering her hospital bills, travel for treatments, and daily living expenses. Your generous contribution, no matter the amount, will provide crucial aid, allowing Liz to focus entirely on her recovery without the added stress of financial worries.
Because of her specific leukemic mutation (KMT2A), Liz must undergo a Bone Marrow Transplant for which her brother will be her donor. She is set to enter the hospital for treatment December 14 and is expected to remain until late January. Post hospital stay, she will continue with at-home treatment for months with her parents as her caregivers in Pennsylvania.
Your support can bring tremendous relief and hope to Liz during this challenging time. Please join us in supporting Liz and her family on this journey to recovery. Thank you for your generosity and your heartfelt support.
Together, we can make a significant difference in Liz's fight against leukemia.
