Help Elizabeth Starling Recover from Hurricane Helene
Donation protected
Update (Oct 4th, 2024): Thanks to your incredible generosity, we have hit our first fundraising goal much faster than we ever anticipated! We are truly overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and support from all of you.
Additional donations will go toward covering temporary housing expenses as well as costs associated with her previous home.
We’re raising money on behalf of our mom, Elizabeth Starling, whose home was destroyed by flooding caused by Hurricane Helene in Clyde, NC. The flood destroyed her house and all of her belongings.
Elizabeth is a dedicated nurse at a recovery clinic. In the days following the storm, she remained on-site to care for her patients and ensure they found a safe place to go. Unfortunately, the clinic has now closed for the foreseeable future due to the storm, leaving her both without a home and temporarily out of work.
Elizabeth has always been the first to help others, and now she needs our help. Many friends and family have asked how they can support her during this difficult time, so my brother and I created this campaign for anyone who feels compelled to contribute.
All funds raised will go directly towards helping her secure a new place to live and replace the personal belongings she lost in the flood.
We are incredibly grateful for any support you can provide. Your generosity, thoughts, and kindness mean the world to us.
With gratitude,
Ben & Daniel
