My sister Elizabeth deals every day with
Bipolar 2 Disorder, Depression, General Anxiety
Disorder and ADHD. This concoction of mental
illnesses makes life for her very challenging in
many ways. Just recently, a manic episode
pushed her past her limit which has led to her
be admitted into a behavioral center. The same
happened when she was 14. It has been a
rough couple of days for her, our family and I as
we cope with this adjustment. Along with the
stress of it all, we sadly have to worry about
money as well. This sort of care becomes
incredibly expensive very fast. And to make
transitioning out of the center to regular day
life as seamless as possible, we are in the
midst of training a service animal to help her,
which will also cost quite a bit. If you have
available funds and are able to assist in her
recovery, we would all be tremendously
grateful. If you also have the chance to share this, that would be grand.
