Help Ella On Her Leukaemia Journey
Donation protected
Up until two weeks ago Ella, 18, was living her best life, at music school, socialising, and doing everything an 18 year old at uni should be doing......
Until it was suddenly taken away from her...
On March 6, 2025, our world was turned upside down when Ella was diagnosed with leukaemia.
Ella was pursuing her music degree at ACM in Guildford when she first started feeling unwell, experiencing pain in her collarbone. After spending nine days in the hospital undergoing extensive tests—blood work, CT scans, and an MRI—it was discovered that her lymph nodes were swollen.
Her blood tests were sent to The Royal Marsden Hospital in London, where the heartbreaking diagnosis was confirmed. From there, she was immediately admitted to UCLH London for further testing, including a bone marrow biopsy and a lumbar puncture, where chemotherapy was administered directly into her spine to prevent the leukaemia from spreading to her brain. She will continue to receive this procedure throughout her treatment, along with regular blood and platelet transfusions.
Ella has now started aggressive weekly chemotherapy at UCLH, which will continue until September, followed by oral chemotherapy for the next two years. This journey will be unimaginably tough, bringing countless challenges along the way.
We need your help.
Ella’s immune system will be severely compromised, making public transport too dangerous for her. The only safe way for her to travel to UCLH for treatment is by taxi—an expense that is simply unaffordable for our family. We are raising funds to help ease this burden and make this devastating situation a little more manageable for Ella.
Any support, no matter how big or small, would mean the world to us. Your generosity will help ensure that Ella can focus on the most important fight of her life—beating leukaemia.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness and support.
