Help Ellie complete her bucket list!

Hello, we are Tara, Dana, Annie, and Sam. We are raising money for our best pal Ellie.

Sadly, Ellie was diagnosed with a sarcoma (a rare form of cancer) back in 2018 whilst she was halfway through her nursing degree. After undergoing chemotherapy, radiotherapy and a pretty radical surgery to remove her shoulder Ellie was given the all clear. She then went on to finish her degree and become a neonatal nurse.

Since then the cancer has been rather persistant, requiring a further round of radiotherapy and four operations to remove the tumours. Unfortunately, the most recent operation was not able to remove all of the cancer and it has now returned in the lungs where it cannot be removed.

Treatment for sarcomas is limited, so this means Ellie is now back on chemotherapy for the foreseeable future. She has been unable to work for the whole of this year due to constant treatment and surgeries, and will no longer be able to go back to work, putting a financial strain on what is already a difficult time.

The good news is that Ellie's boyfriend George proposed to her in January this year. They are getting married in February and we would love for them to have the funds to go on the most memorable honeymoon after this cycle of chemotherapy. They have both always dreamed of going to Japan and it would be amazing to be able to make that dream come true.

It would be incredible for Ellie to have the opportunity to fulfil all her travelling dreams in between treatment. We are all immensely grateful for you having taken the time to read this and we know any donations would mean the world to Ellie.
