Help Elmer and his wife Josie Fight Kidney Failure

Dear friends and compassionate strangers,

It is with a heavy heart that we write to you today to seek your help. Our beloved relative, (my Uncle) Elmer Narag, recently underwent a kidney transplant, and while we are thankful for the successful surgery, the cost of the treatment has left us financially drained.

The surgery alone costed a whooping $26,000 (Php 1,500,000 pesos paid in cash) was a huge financial strain for the family. Elmer, a father of three young children named Josiel, Greg, and Eira, is a public school teacher who works tirelessly to provide for his family. The expenses that come with post-transplant care are enormous, and the family is struggling to make ends meet.

To make matters worse, Elmer's wife Josie, is also a kidney failure patient and was admitted to the ICU in November 2022 for 2 months due to Multi Organ Failure. His wife recovered but was recently hospitalized again in the ICU April 1st of this year. This family has been through so much, and we cannot bear to see them suffer any longer.

The medications required to prevent Elmer's body from rejecting the new kidney are a lifelong commitment and come at a considerable cost. As a family, we are unable to cover these expenses alone, and we humbly ask for your help.

We are reaching out to you in the hope that you can extend a helping hand to Elmer and his wife Josie during this difficult time. Any amount you can give will go directly to his post-transplant expenses and his wife’s hospital bills ensuring that they both receive the best possible care.
