Help Eloise recover from the Lismore flood

Eloise Bell, 16 years old and in the foster system since the age of 8, had just recently moved into her first supported independent living arrangement when the flood warning came. Eloise is safe, but her home was decimated. When she returned to start cleaning up and salvage what she could, she discovered that her landlord has already been through and dumped her possessions on the street — her clothes, her furniture, her clown dolls, her photographs. She managed to save two damaged photos of her deceased Mum.

Ahead of the flood, Eloise sought safety at her sister Aaisha’s house. Aaisha is also in an independent living arrangement, in a house on higher ground. They thought they’d be safe to stay there. The flood rose to within an inch of the house and they had to be evacuated from there.

They are both now staying with me in my child Django’s room while he camps on the living room floor. We have 5 other evacuees here as well. Eleven people in total.

She will have some assistance from CASPA (a child welfare & care service provider) to find new housing, but she has to start all over again. Can you chip in to help get her the following items? :

--> School uniform

--> Furniture

--> Kitchenware

--> Bedding & linen

--> School text books

--> Art supplies

--> Electrical items (chargers/lamps/toaster/TV/computer/whitegoods etc)

--> Hygiene products

--> Pet supplies.

I am Eloise's aunt and the money will come into my bank account for me to pass on to her. I will assist her to purchase the items she requires.
