Help Emanuel attend Violin Making School

Hi, my name is Emanuel (E#) Hill, and I am an aspiring luthier from Atlanta, GA. For the past few years, I've been working part-time in the industry and am looking to make the next step in my career. Attending the Chicago School of Violin Making will give me the skills and education necessary to continue my work in helping and educating musicians in my community about the tools of their trade: their instruments.

Having attended the recent Violin Society and Viola Society conventions, I've seen firsthand that there aren't many Black makers/luthiers, and I'd personally like to see that number go up.

I need about $700 for tools alone, and any money raised here will help me with the move to Chicago from Atlanta, as well as tuition for the program. Thank you, and I so hope that I can make this happen! ☮︎ ♡ ♫
