Help Emerson Avoid Homelessness

I am starting this campaign as a last resort for my son, Emerson.

Emerson has fallen on extremely hard times and is facing homelessness. He really needs help and I am trying to help him get stable.

A little over a year ago, Emerson was in a severe auto accident and he broke his neck. Through his long road to recovery, he was out of work for 9 months. He hasn’t been able to fully bounce back from that. Recently, his girlfriend’s father was found to have 3 brain tumors, so she moved out of their apartment to spend time with her father. This left Emerson facing uncertainty and a hefty bill to break the lease he’s in and get into a more affordable apartment.

Emerson has been able to get approved for a less expensive apartment, but he needs to come up with funds he doesn’t have very quickly. He is currently on an unpaid LOA from work and doesn’t go back to work until 10/14.

Emerson just needs to come up with enough funds to get into the new apartment and then he’s confident he can get back on his own feet after that. He’s desperate and has exhausted all relief that was available to him.

Any help is greatly appreciated and I hate that it’s come to this, but I don’t know what else to do. I am not in any sort of position to help the way he needs, so I am coming to my community for help.
