Help Emersyn Get the Orthodontic Care She Needs

As some of you might know, my daughter Emersyn has the same issue that I had as a child that I never had corrected. She has a crossbite, overbite and her jaw is growing to the left. We have been to a children’s dentist and so far have had 12 of her baby teeth pulled in order to start some orthodontic treatment. This treatment will last for a few years and is costly. She has to start out with a spacer in order to move her upper jaw, that is too narrow, and is unable to house her full tongue. She will have to wear that for six months and then start braces on the teeth she does have left in her mouth in order to create the space for the rest of her teeth and her tongue to lay the way is supposed to. Insurance is only paying a small portion. Unfortunately there is no money left over from a one income household in order to facilitate this process. We were told that if this is not corrected in her youth, she will need surgery later down the road that would be a major surgery to correct her jaw and teeth. I am not wanting to ask for help, but I just can’t do this on my own. I myself was fortunate enough a few years ago to get braces to correct my issue, though it didn’t fully correct it I am able to eat properly and decided against the surgery, anything would help including prayers, that somehow this can be accomplished without losing everything that I have.
