Help Emery Volunteer Fire Chiefs Rebuild After House Fire
Donation protected
Scott and Kyla McClaughry, the Volunteer Fire Chief and Assistant Fire Chief of Emery Town Volunteer Fire Department, have spent the last few years serving and protecting our community—without pay, without hesitation, and always with heart.
On March 31st, tragedy struck their own lives when a fire tore through their home. They were not home at the time, but two of their beloved dogs, Bob and Rollie—who were like their children—tragically did not survive.
The emotional toll is overwhelming. The full extent of the damage is still being assessed, but their home was severely impacted. They also lost the computers used to run their small business, where they created custom metal art and t-shirts.
Scott and Kyla have always shown up for others in times of crisis. Now, we ask that others show up for them.
This fundraiser will help cover:
- Temporary housing and living expenses
- Replacing daily essentials
- Business recovery (including lost computers)
- Long-term rebuilding and recovery

If you can’t give financially, sharing this page and keeping them in your thoughts means the world.
Let’s rally together and remind the McClaughrys that the community they’ve protected all these years now stands behind them—stronger than ever.
From the ashes, we rise—together.
