Hi everyone, I am making this for my little sister Emilly Mullen. Last night on 04/16/24 my sister was involved in a horrific boating accident. She fell off the back of the boat and was struck by the boat propellers several times. She was struck on the left thigh, left calf, right calf all the way down, and across her tailbone to the bone. She also has a broken Pelvis and tailbone. She was rushed to Lawnwood Trauma Center where she went into an intensive surgery to try to save her legs and back. She has a drain bulb currently on her laceration on her tail bone and a 50/50 chance of infection. If infection happens she will need to have a second surgery to place a sponge and a machine to drain for 6 months. It will be a very long road to recovery, we are so grateful to have her alive today. By the grace of God she is currently stable. She is a local of south Hutchinson Island and a bartender at On the Edge Bar and grill in Fort Pierce, so she will be out of work for an extended period as she learns to walk again over the next 4-6 months. We are reaching out to friends and family in the Treasure Coast to help her with her medical bills, rent, and all of her other bills and costs during this time.
