My sister (Emily), her husband (Josh), and their two young daughters experienced unimaginable loss as the Eaton Fire took their home and everything in it.

Their home was a hub of their community. They welcomed any and all with warmth and food, hosting birthday parties, holiday parties, and play dates for their family and friends. Now, it’s all gone.

The road ahead of them is long and daunting. They are focused on ensuring their girls are safe and navigating this tragedy that has devastated them and their community.

The goal amount is significant in that the character for 18 in Hebrew also means “life.”
