Help Emily & Ben Recover After Hurricane Helene
Donation protected
In the early morning hours of September 27th, 2024, Hurricane Helene pummeled through the little town of Simpsonville, SC, causing devastating damage to the community and countless homes—including the home of my dear sister, Emily Quattrone, and her husband, Ben. Multiple mature trees came down around her house that morning, and three fell directly on their home causing damage one could only dream of. The entire back corner of their house was demolished as these trees fell through the attic and into one of the upstairs bedrooms. Praise God no one was in that room at the time. The rain that poured following the fall of the trees has resulted in immense water damage in most rooms, and on all levels of the house. Additionally, their home is not structurally sound and is not habitable for the foreseeable future.
Emily and Ben are newlyweds and just started their life together this past February. They are joyfully welcoming their first child this Christmas and are exceedingly blessed and beyond excited to become parents. But now, they find themselves with the enormous burden of rebuilding their home. During the time they thought they’d be nesting and preparing for their child, they instead, find themselves having to deal with the unimaginable.
Emily and Ben have homeowner’s insurance, however, there are a lot of upfront costs and lots of incidental expenses that insurance will not cover. They also have a large deductible that needs to be met. Ultimately, easing the overall financial burden that follows something like this is my goal. Emily is my little sister, and taking care of her is one of my duties as a big sis, but it’s also one of my greatest joys.
The Quattrone Family is in need. We would be eternally grateful if you’d prayerfully consider supporting Emily and Ben as they navigate this challenging chapter together while rebuilding their home in time for “BBQ’s” (Baby Quattrone) arrival this Christmas. Please know that no gift is too small. As our Granddaddy used to say: "Money isn't everything, but it sure does help!"
Prayers are welcome and are, truly, the greatest gift. If a prayer is all you can offer, we will feel the impact of that too.
May God bless you all, and know that you will be in our prayers of thanksgiving. But most of all: God bless Emily, Ben, and BabyQ.
With Heartfelt Thanks,
Anna Custer
Sister of Emily Quattrone
*ALL proceeds will go directly to the Quattrone Family to cover their HIGH DEDUCTIBLE, immediate expenses, and anything insurance will not cover. Any surplus will be donated to Hurricane Helene relief efforts and other local victims.*
