Emily Cook is a 32-year-old United States Capitol Police Officer who was recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer. Previously, Emily was on Metropolitan Police Department’s mountain bike team and lives in Maryland with her girlfriend and two French Bulldogs. Emily lost her mom to breast cancer in 2013 and her dad in 2020 to Covid. Officer Cook is a strong, selfless and positive person who has greatly impacted her coworkers and her community.
