Help Emily with Medical Bills

Hi there,

My name is Emily, I am 24 years old and am currently in need of some financial help.

I was diagnosed with Addison’s Disease in 2018, and have been diagnosed with another very rare disease called PHACES Syndrome in July of 2021.

I suffer from panic disorder, manic depression, bipolar, PTSD and ADHD. I have been out of work for the last 4 years due to my medical ailments.

In July of 2021, I sustained a horrible injury that resulted in me breaking my jaw and damaging most of my teeth. I require oral surgery, and have little income from Ontario disability support that just does not cover the costs of my prescriptions, treatments, and my travel to and from doctors appointments and such.

I also am due to have my pituitary gland removed in January and am moving back to Scotland after I have all my surgeries done.

I am looking for help to cover costs of prescriptions, travel, basic necessities, and prescription eye glasses.

I am in debt from 2 years of going to university and having to drop out due to my illnesses. I am still paying back my loans and am really struggling to do so.

I know it is a lot to ask, I just don’t know what else to do. I cannot work and I also need therapy which is very costly and my prescriptions are just piling up and the interest on my student loans is just climbing and I feel as though I am never going to be financially stable. It’s affecting my mental and physical health quite horribly and I am at my wits end with everything.

Any donations will be very appreciated. I am so embarrassed that it has come to this point that I am having to ask for help from strangers.

l just don’t know what else to do.
