Help Emily Move To A Safe Home & Finish Her Education

I need help getting out of a state that is hostile toward LGBTQ+ people, moving back home, and paying off debt to my university so I can re-enroll and finish my degree! Being able to finish school will vastly improve my options for finding a career, security, and happiness in the future, as well as finally fulfilling my dream of being able to graduate from college.

This is a two-phase fundraiser, with the first and more time sensitive need to raise money to move. I need to get out of Nebraska (a state with actively hostile laws towards LGBTQ+ people and trans people in particular), and to get back to my family's house in North Carolina where I can have a safe place to live and re-establish residency for in-state tuition. The sooner I am able to do this the better, and the goal is to raise about $2500 for the costs of packing supplies, moving my furniture and belongings, and my own transportation back.

After I am able to get back to North Carolina and am settled, I can find a new job and start paying back debt owed to the university. I have about a year left of my degree program, but due to a lot of stress involving COVID and personal issues I previously failed a semester and owe a significant amount of money for the financial aid that had covered my tuition that semester. Unfortunately, I am not able to re-enroll or even access my transcript until this is paid off, and so taking care of this will be necessary. This need is not as urgent, as I will not be able to re-enroll immediately due to currently not having in-state residency in NC. Regardless, help in paying this off so I can finish school would be enormously appreciated! I am currently estimating this amount to be about $3000, but this number will need to be updated as I have to contact the cashier's office to see how much interest has increased the debt.
