My name is Emily Mason, and I am asking for help after Hurricane Isaiah changed my life in an instant. I live in Panama City Beach, Florida, and my home was destroyed by the powerful high winds from the storm. Losing my home has been heartbreaking and overwhelming. It was more than just a building to me. It was my safe place, my comfort, and the place where I felt secure. Most importantly, it was the safe place for my family, including my 3-year-old daughter, Hannah, and my 6-year-old son, Rider. This home was also especially meaningful because my mom and dad left it to me after they passed away. It was the only thing I had left of them and of everything they worked so hard for. Now I am facing the difficult reality of rebuilding and trying to find stability again after losing so much.

I started this fundraiser to help cover the costs of rebuilding my home and making it safe and livable again for my children and me. Donations will go toward construction materials, labor, necessary repairs, hotel expenses for my family until our house is rebuilt, and other essential costs that come with starting over after this kind of loss while preserving what this home means to my family.
