Family Tragedy - Children in need

Emily Baker was an extraordinary, loving, kind, mother of five beautiful children. She worked hard, building a budding career in software sales, while prioritizing her family and children. Emily and her husband, Fred Icban, had two beautiful children together and lived in Virginia Beach. Recently, the marriage was stressed and Emily elected to separate and rented an apartment. Less than a week later a tragic event happened. While in the driveway of their home, Fred Icban shot our daughter multiple times while their two young children were in their car seats in the back seat. He then turned the gun on himself and is dead.

This horrible tragedy occurred on Friday, March 5, 2022 and our lives are forever changed, along with her beautiful children who will need so much support, professional help, and most of all love.

All financial contributions will be shared across her three children, used exclusively for their care. The family would greatly appreciate any amount you can afford to give. Two of the children instantly became orphaned through this tragic event. Unfortunately, she leaves no savings of any consequence to care for the needs of the children.

We will always love Emily and will forever miss her; though we know she will never be forgotten please keep her in your heart and think of her often.
