Help Emma’s Knee Surgeries!

Hello! My dear friend Lisa is requesting help for her beloved therapy dog, Emma.

Emma is a therapy dog that has worked to help the kids at Bluecoats for several summers and who has personally helped brighten Millsap and I’s days every time we see her. Because of how much she’s helped us and our friends, we’re hoping to help Lisa cover some unexpected surgery costs!

As many Bluecoats saw, she was in a LOT of pain this summer when she was visiting and doing therapy. After seeing many specialists, Lisa found out Emma needs double knee surgery (TPLO) which is extremely costly (thousands of dollars.) Without the surgery, she will, in time, become lame and unable to move. This surgery will repair her injuries and improve her quality of life, allowing her to work as a therapy dog without physical disability or pain. She has poured out her love to our family, the Bluecoats and to the community over the past 5+ years, and we want her to be able to do so for many more years.
