Help Emmy battle Stage 4 Gallbladder Cancer!

Hi my name is Crystal. I am starting this fundraiser to help one of the best human beings I've ever known fight for her life! Emmys life took a radical turn on the morning of 3/19/2022. She awoke in severe and sudden pain with a very swollen abdomen. Initially she was misdiagnosed with Ovarian cancer. We now know it is Stage 4 Gallbladder Cancer. It had already spread to her ovaries, through the abdomen, liver, lymph nodes in both breasts, diaphragm, near the heart etc. A devastating diagnosis. She has worked hard her entire adult life and was excitedly pursing a graduate level degree when this disease disrupted her life. She is an amazing mother to a 4 yr old son who she adores. She has undergone 2 combo chemo treatments, a drain placed for the malignant ascites, mediport placement, and will be getting another device to help stimulate her bone marrow as chemo is taking its toll on her ability to make white blood cells. She is facing the reality that to keep her medical insurance and pay her bills that she may have to try to keep working. Her will to be self sufficient is strong but her poor little body is unfortunately not nearly as strong. She endures severe pain and fights hard everyday. She has always been the example of what a great friend is, always there for anyone with a smile and helping hand. She radiates love and kindness and everyone who knows her feels a deep anger and stinging sense of injustice that this is happening to her. To know her is to love her. With her body in present condition, medical bills piling up, and so much uncertainty ahead I felt one thing I may be able to do is ask the universe to return some of the amazing karma to her now, in her time of need by asking others to come together to help her. I feel the money will allow her to keep her insurance, pay bills, have some more time with her little boy WITHOUT worrying so much about how she will keep medical insurance and income. Please find it in your heart to help her and rest assured the individual these funds will help is genuinely one of the purest, most deserving souls amongst us. Thank you and Much Love!
