Help Energize A Tender Heart (HEATH)

In Heath's 20s he was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy. In his late 30s he continued to have the same diagnosis. A pacemaker was needed as well as an ICD, implantable cardioverter defibrillator.

In December, Heath suffered congested heart failure. After weeks of AFib, he was rushed to LGH on January 1st. Due to the seriousness of his condition he was then transferred to Tufts Boston. He was receiving treatment to support heart function since. After undergoing many tests, and procedures he was placed on the heart tranplant list. Soon after he received a donor's heart, and surgery was a success. Heath's amazing medical team have been monitoring him every step of the way from the moment he became their patient.

Heath's family members have created this page to help ease the financial burden of his operation and aftercare treatment on his family. There is still a long road ahead. Anything you are comfortable contributing is more than appreciated. Our family is so thankful for all of the love and support we all received already!
