HELP ENG WRESTLER CHLOE BRING BK A MEDAL CWG 2022
Donation protected
Well here it is...for those who don't know me, here is a brief explanation of why I need your help.
I have wrestled for 15 years. During that time, I have held the title of British Champion 10x.
This year, I have the honour and pride of representing Team England the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
Getting here has been tough. It has meant showing others that nothing is impossible.
From childhood seizures, Great Ormond Street care, school bullies who named me "disability kid", low expectations from some teachers and professionals, and generally being told what I couldn't do. I have always fought back...HARD WORK PAYS OFF.
I achieved a Sports Science and Education degree. A-levels and 10 GCSEs, all A-C (They said 5 D-Gs would be the best to hope for) HARD WORK PAYS OFF.
As Ambassador for "Fight for Autism", Coach to youngsters at RPFC, School PE Specialist and a motivational speaker to thousands of youngsters, my message is...HARD WORK PAYS OFF.
Those who know me personally are aware of my recent trauma. Those same people have supported me with the solid belief I will always find my way through. It is tough, but emotional hard work pays off too.
I have learnt so much that I share to help others overcome barriers and obstacles. When my wrestling competitive career is finished (depending on how much money I can raise to continue past CWG 2022), my final goal is to set up a place where young people can participate and reach their potential. That day is near.
For now, my goal is to medal for my country at this summer's games. Additionally, if enough is raised, the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
I simply cannot compete with other internationals that have access to the best coaches in the world, international competitions, travel expenses, training camps, physiotherapy and more. They are able to train full time without employment obligations.
It is my hope that this fundraiser will give me some opportunities to prepare and have an equal chance to medal. However, to do this, I must also reduce my working hours and prepare to the standard of my competitors.
To all of you who have shared my journey so far, for your encouragement and belief...with your help, I know that this hard work will pay off.
And to every young person who has a wish, dream or goal...Set your own expectations- Talk to those who can hear you...Find your path and remember...HARD WORK PAYS OFF.
