Help Enrique Matuz Beat Cancer
I am Rosa Maria, Enrique Matuz's mother. I am writing this letter on behalf of my family to express the health problems that my son has been experiencing since November of 2020 and consequently our family has been under a lot of stress emotionally & financially.
These past 7 months have been agonizing and now our biggest fear has been confirmed on June 15, 2021 Enrique was diagnosed with cancer. The doctor told us that the cancer that my son has is not common in people of 41 years and that it is very aggressive and has to be treated urgently.
Enrique has always been a healthy and physically active person. He volunteers to coach softball teams at Team Hustle Arizona Fastpitch and Arizona Girls Softball. Enrique thrives to be connected with his children's school by volunteering. He dressed up as the St. Louis the King Catholic School mascot the lion and walked an entire parade in Glendale Arizona. He sang in the choir and danced with the matachines. He recently ran the lost dutchman marathon.
This news has come as a surprise and unexpected.Enrique needs our financial support. During this time Enrique has not worked as much as he used to because he is in pain. To complicate this matter he is undocumented and uninsured. Enrique is the main support for his three daughters 16, 13 and 10 years old and his wife.
Our family is desperate and very scared. We ask for your help in this great need that we are going through. Your funds will be used for cancer treatment and multiple surgeries that he needs to get healthy again.
Our family situation is of great urgency and this is why I am writing to you to ask you for your financial contribution.
