Our young dancers at Osipova Ballet Academy need your help!

OBA is expanding our studios to a brand new location with 5,500 square feet of space! Unfortunately, the expenses to equip our new location are very high for us to manage on our own. We are committed to bringing the most Premier Vaganova Training in the Bay Area, so we are in need of installing professional sprung floors in our new studios with over 5,500 square feet of space!

Sprung flooring is highly important for ballet dancers. It creates a more supportive platform for dancers, giving energy back into movements so they can keep dancing for longer. It provides some degree of bounce and flexes under impact. Dancers need a sprung floor to absorb the shock of repeated impact to their joints and to reduce injury from falls.

I am Marina Osipova, the Artistic Director & Founder of Osipova Ballet Academy. Opening my own studio has been a long dream of mine, and this past year of success has been amazing for OBA. We have received so much support & recognition from our community & beyond, and have seen our student body double its size! We never realized how much we would grow in such a short time, and now the question stands of being able to afford & renovate a new location to accommodate more students!

I love all my students and wish to be able to pass down my life’s work & knowledge to as many young students as possible. Bringing the most traditional & premier Vaganova training to the future of ballet here in the Bay Area is my top number one priority.

Any donation no matter how big or small will be a great help to us & will go directly into renovating & building our new location to accommodate training space for the future generation of dancers!

Students of OBA have received top scores, honors & awards at NATIONAL & INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIONS & have been accepted/offered scholarships to prestigious dance programs around the world such as Berlin State Ballet, Bolshoi Ballet, Orlando Ballet, Moscow IBC SI, Harid Conservatory, Oklahoma Ballet, Russian Masters Ballet official courses of VAGANOVA BALLET ACADEMY in St. Petersburg, Russia.
