Help eradicate the Great Pacific Garbage Patch

My name is Tala, and I came across this non-profit one day while researching current events in class. The Great Pacific Garbage Patch is killing wildlife in search of food and leeching toxic chemicals into our water, finding their way through sealife's stomachs and back onto our plates; After learning this, I had no doubts that I needed to help in any way possible. This way, you can contribute too! These funds will go towards research and create a stable base for the Ocean Cleanup to scale up its operations. More information about American Friends of The Ocean Cleanup Foundation: The Ocean Cleanup is the largest cleanup in history. They develop and scale technologies to rid the world's oceans of plastic. To achieve this objective, they use a dual strategy: intercepting plastic in rivers to cut pollution inflow and clean up what has already accumulated in the ocean and won’t go away by itself.
