Help the Stein Family Recover After a Fire in Lockport, NY

On the eve of the 4th of July tragedy struck for my brother, Eric, and his family in Lockport, NY. They had planned to awake to a day of celebration for Independence Day. Instead, they were awoken in the middle of the night to their house on fire. Fortunately, the three human family members who were home at the time (Eric, his wife Stacy, and their son Joey) managed to escape without serious physical injury. Joey and the family dog, Stitch, had to evade the fire by exiting through a window. Sadly, one of their three cats, Scarlet, died of smoke inhalation, and the other two, Harley and Quinn have not been found.

They lost everything that was in the house, and now have only the pajamas they were wearing at the time. This tragedy also compounds pre-existing challenges for Eric and his family as they struggle to meet the exorbitant costs of healthcare related to some ongoing medical issues.

Because of this immediate need for assistance, we are asking for any help you can give. No amount is too small; every dollar will go directly to my brother’s family to help them rebuild their lives. The money will go toward essential needs: clothes, housing costs, food, furniture, medical supplies, etc.
