It is with deepest sadness that Denise, Rebekah & Erica announce the passing of Eric on the early morning of April 22, 2023.

He was surrounded by his family & friends.

He was a husband, father, son, brother, uncle, mentor, mechanic, and probably more. Anyone who knew Eric, knew he would help you if he could. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

We are keeping this GoFundMe active for donations until the week after his funeral on May 13, 2023. This will help the family with residual medical and funeral costs. For those of you who know Eric, he’s been a staple in the gaming community as the previous owner of Wonko’s in Austin, TX. He’s always been someone who’s willing to help from raising over $100,000 for Children of Panamericana when he and a group of international drivers broke the record for going from Prudhoe Bay, Alaska to Ushuaia Argentina in 15 days, 11 hrs. To the Dell’s Children Hospital with toys and game donations to getting ordained and marrying several couples including a wedding in Wonko’s.

He is on the mend.

His doctors are optimistic that he’ll be on the mend after his first round of chemotherapy and will be out of the hospital in about a month. However, the battle against cancer is a long journey and it could take up to a year before he can return back to work or if ever at his original capacity and Social Security Disability can take upwards of 18 months to be approved.
