Help Eric Recover from Guillain-Barré Syndrome

Dear Friends, Family, and Community,

Eric—who has made us all laugh and poured us many drinks at O’Brian's in Boca Raton—has recently been diagnosed with Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS), a rare condition that affects the nervous system and mobility. As a result, he is currently hospitalized and facing a long road to recovery, including extensive rehabilitation to regain his strength and independence.

Why Eric Needs Our Help

Like many hardworking individuals in the service industry, Eric does not have health insurance to cover the mounting medical bills, therapy costs, and essential living expenses. With his mobility affected, he is unable to work and will be out of a paycheck for the foreseeable future.

At home, Eric shares an apartment with his girlfriend and their recently adopted dog, Pumpkin. Without his ability to contribute to daily tasks or walk the dog, his girlfriend is taking on both emotional and financial burdens during this difficult time.
