Help Erica with Gender Confimation Surgery

Hello! My name is Erica. I am a 41-year-old trans woman. I am looking for help to raise money to help pay for my transition.

 

I am scheduled for Gender Confirmation Surgery in May 2022. And I need help covering the costs of the surgery and related expenses. I do have insurance that will cover some of the costs of the surgery. But what it doesn't cover is the 3 month recovery time, transportation, lodging, and food (my surgery is in another city which we will have to stay for 2 weeks). I work in the service industry, and live paycheck to paycheck, So I need help keeping myself, my partner, and her son financially stable during my recovery period.

 

I began transitioning in February of 2020, and it has literally saved my life. My happiness and stability have gotten so much better in the last year. This is the final step in my transition and will help make me become the whole person I want to be.

 

This isn't a cosmetic procedure.  For someone with gender dysphoria,  it is literally lifesaving.
