Help Ericka and her Son

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

As many of you know, I’ve volunteered at Bayside church for the past 20+ years. This is my friend Ericka.

Ericka and her adult, disabled son are homeless. Her son has a TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) and 25% of his brain is gone after a motorcycle accident while at a stop light 5 years ago.

Since then, Ericka has cared for her son during 3 brain surgeries and helped him learn how to eat, walk and speak. His grand mal seizures are worsening and soon needs another surgery.

Ericka and her adult son were abandoned and living in their car at a Walmart parking lot. She gave me permission to share her story and these photos that i took.

Immediate Urgency on 12/24/21:

Housing - Shelters are currently full. THEY NEED SOMEWHERE TO SLEEP TONIGHT.

Food

Medications

Transportation

They are in this situation and wish to have a second chance in life.
