Help Erika Beat Multiple Myeloma

My name is Amy and I've known Erika since 4th grade when she moved in up the street. We built forts in the attic, created silly dance routines and made monumental promises like 'never to curse.' Our adventures were many but none of them compare to what Erika and her family are dealing with right now. Thanks to a recent cancer diagnosis, Erika needs ALL of us to be a part of her story. At the end of 2022, her holidays turned grim when she first learned she may have something wrong. Over the next several weeks, tests confirmed Multiple Myeloma. So begins the battle of her life, for her life.

This page has been started to allow Erika and her family to focus on treatment, caring for Erika and themselves. The funds go directly to the Buhring family to ease their burden so they don't have to worry about unexpected expenses due to her treatment including their travel for care at Mayo, considering she is unable to work at this time.
