Help Erin Livingston FIGHT Cancer!!!

Dear Family, Friends and Supporters:

On February 9th Erin Livingston was admitted to the hospital for what seemed to be a bad stomach ache; scans and tests revealed Stage 4 liver and colon cancer. This diagnosis came out of left field.

While the news came to a shock. Erin "our wonder women" is ready to fight because that is who she is - a fighter. She has a plan in place. She will have a few more tests to confirm what types of chemo her body will react to best and a PET scan to confirm they don’t see anything else. The doctor is overly confident we will not since they’ve been very thorough in the other scans. She will start chemotherapy immediately within a week. The goal is to shrink both tumors and kill any cancer that they may not have seen before surgery. The Chemo will be a minimum of 8 weeks, a maximum of 6 months all depending on her bodies response. The next step will be surgery to remove both tumors. Both tumors appear to be pretty easily removed from what the doctor can tell. Once they are removed obviously she will need follow up meds and treatments.

For those who do not know, Erin is a wife and mother of 5 wonderful children. She is also an active member of Suncrest Christian Church, a mentor program director at Mommy's Haven, and Full-Time Office Manager at All-Right Sign. Erin is an incredible woman and has alway left a positive impact on anyone who has come across her path. She is loving, compassionate, thoughtful, and a pure joy to be around. She would truly give the shirt off her back for anyone she does and doesn't know.

Now, with Erins diagnosis, all of us have an opportunity to extend that same loving helping hand during this medical journey.
