Help Erin Pay For Skin Cancer Surgery

Hey guys! If you know me in real life, then you know that asking for help isn't something I'm good at or comfortable with, but here I am, asking for help, because I need it. I found a spot on my nose that seemed a little off in December of 2020. At first, I thought it was a white head or maybe a small pimple. I kept an eye on it, and it slowly changed, and grew and I knew I needed to get it checked out. June 16th I had a biopsy which confirmed that it was cancer. Here's the thing: Im obsessed with taking care of my skin. I have a vigorous skin care regimen, I haven't left the house without a minimum of SPF 30 on at least my face and neck for 20 years. This is something that just happened, and sucks so bad. Most likely I developed pre-cancerous cells as a child from sunburns. I will be having Mohs Surgery to remove the cancer at the end of July, and then 2 weeks later I will have reconstructive surgery including a skin graft.

Here is where I need help: I don't have insurance. I am self employed, I'm a single parent and insurance is just not something I can afford for myself. The premiums for a single, self employed person are just so high. I work so hard, I provide for myself and my children, I show up for each of my clients, family members and friends in their times of need, and now I need a little help. I do have a little savings, but I don't have enough to cover the cost of the surgeries, and the time off I will need to heal.

Asking for help is not something I like to do, and if there was any other way, trust me, I'd do that...but there just isn't, so I am asking for your help. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE where sunscreen. Put it on your babies, wear big stupid hats at the beach, even if you're just in the car ,it's so important. Take my situation as a lesson that it can happen to ANYONE.
