Help Erin with her medical expenses
Donation protected
Hello, this is Paula Montalvo. I am Erin’s Sister in law. First I wanted to thank you all for the love and support and you’ve shown my family over these last two months. We are especially thankful for all of the prayers! We have seen God’s providence is such a tremendous way, it would take hours to write it all down.
Many of you have asked me how you can help the Zander family and I needed some time to talk with the Zander family and assess the situation. Thank you for your patience in this regard.
Erin was diagnosed with AML/APL after a week of excessive bleeding back in August. What a shock it was to be diagnosed with Leukemia when all any of us were thinking was “female issues” Erin started treatment in the Emergency room shortly after being told her cancer diagnosis. She spent a month in the hospital receiving intensive chemotherapy and as a result of her non existent immune system, had to have surgery to remove necrotic tissue from two places. Graciously God has been healing Erin and she is getting ready to resume chemotherapy within the next month.
While Erin continues treatment (which will be five days a week for six months once she is able to start) Erin will not be able to work. This will put a very large financial burden on their family. At the start of 2022, her deductible will reset and they will have multiple thousands of dollars of out of pocket expenses until that deductible is met. There are also many copays, medications, and gasoline required to drive into San Antonio every day and back. All of this to say, after assessing the situation, the best way we can help the Zanders is by doing our best to help them pay for her treatments and replace her lost income.
I am asking you all to prayerfully consider donating to the Zander family to help ease their burden, any amount would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance,
Paula Montalvo
