Help Erno's Parents In Their Time Of Grief

My name is Jeremy Eiman, and I'm the brother of Summer Eiman. Summer is married to Robert Whitfield, and they are the parents of dearly departed little baby Erno Goran Eiman Whitfield. Summer learned she was pregnant early in 2024, but in her second trimester, she suffered PPROM (Preterm Premature Rupture of Membranes), a life-threatening condition for both mother and baby. Undaunted by the risks & determined to give her baby every chance at life, Summer decided to move forward with her pregnancy.
They tracked the baby's progress and followed their doctors' instructions, which included that Summer stay in the hospital from May 17 until the baby came, which happened the night of May 30. They named him Erno after Robert's grandmother Erna, whom Summer & Robert had kept company the last year of her life, and with whom he would've shared a birthday had the pregnancy proceeded normally. He was minutes short of 25 weeks along and weighed around 1lb 11oz, including life support.
They called my mother and me the next day, and we were so relieved that he was alive and critical but stable. His first 3 days were crucial, but Erno was a FIGHTER. He made steady gains and eventually weighed 2lbs 3oz. We all hoped he'd stay in the NICU until discharged, but there were setbacks. He had so many blood tests that he needed about a dozen transfusions to make up for them. His fragile state kept my mother and me from seeing him, since we both feared harming him by so much as a cough.
Summer & Robert would drive 45 minutes to see him every day from their house in Manor. On June 20, Erno had to be taken by ambulance to another hospital to be ready to see a specialist when possible due to electrolyte and hormonal imbalances. He re-stabilized after the transfer and continued to make improvements, and we crossed our fingers. He had made enough improvements that his parents could finally hold him for the first time on June 22.
But his condition worsened early the morning of Monday June 24, and he passed away due to complications from a burst intestine that afternoon, despite all attempts at revival. Little baby Erno had lived for just 25 days, all in hospitals. We are all devastated, especially his parents. Erno was Summer & Robert's first child, and it's heartbreaking that things ended this way.
Summer and Robert need your support. Medical bills are piling up, wages have been lost and there are funeral & burial expenses, etc., not to mention the profound grief from losing a child. Please give whatever you can. Thank you.
