Help Escape Medical Debt and Pay For Surgery!

Hey y’all! For those who don’t know me or don’t know me well, my name is Sky and I live in MPLS. I am a QTPOC and i live with chronic illness as well as many mental illnesses. I am a healthcare essential worker and working in the field during the pandemic has been stressful.
I saw the decline in my mental and physical health over the last year and a half and the pandemic was partially to blame. I survived Covid in November of 2020 and it impacted me mentally as well as physically. Access to care has been a barrier for me for a very long time due to inadequate insurance coverage and cost too so I didn’t seek care for a long time.
This year I have tried to prioritize my health and well-being and have been seeing my therapist regularly as well. Recently I’ve had issues with my GERD which meant I had to have a procedure to check my guts and make sure they weren’t damaged. I have also recently been having heart problems that I am concerned are a side effect of having Covid in the past.
I had to go to urgent care this week due to irregular heart beats then I was sent to the ER due to this. I had to have two EKGs, a CT with contrast as well as bloodwork which is all VERY expensive. I also had a holter monitor put on this week. I need help to pay off my past due balances from the GERD procedure as well as my therapy which I owe for. I will soon update with how much my ER/UC bills cost as well.
I currently owe a minimum payment of $415 to Allina for overdue balance and $68 for my procedure. I also owe $170 for therapy. My current full bill I owe to Allina is $1138.74 and this doesn’t count for the visits this week. I can update the post with photos of the bills.
Please share around and help however you can so I don’t feel crushed by the weight of medical debt. I cannot afford to pay these myself and the stress isn’t good for my heart.
