Help Lena and her family escape Rafah (URGENT)

INFORMATION

In early October, following evacuation orders, my friend Lena fled her home and relocated to a school in Khan Younis. She was soon displaced to a tent outside the school, and then displaced again to another tent location further south.

December 12, she found her house and entire neighborhood was destroyed from air strikes. Like many others, dozens of her family members were killed.

We are urgently trying to get her and her family out of Gaza across the Rafah Crossing to Egypt. The situation in the South is EXTREMELY dangerous, and we are very concerned for her life and the lives of her family members.

She is currently sheltering with 12 family members in a tiny tent near the Egypt border. There is no electricity, no food and no water. Bathrooms are disgusting and it is impossible to find feminine and hygiene products.

COST OF EVACUATION

The cost to have your name approved for travel through Rafah Crossing is $6000 per adult. For Lena and her family, this is impossible. They have lost everything and can not pay the amount to get to Egypt. We are hopeful to raise enough for all members of her family to escape safely before the military enters the displacement camp.
