Help Esequiel’s Long Road to Recovery

Donation protected
Hi guys, as some may know, my father Esequiel Tarin has had some health issues for the past year. He has had many appointments to try and figure out what exactly has been going on.
couple of months ago my father started to have these episodes where he would forget what was happening. We thought he was having a stroke and took him to the ER. His symptoms were brushed to the side and told it could be seizures and we had to follow up with neurology. A neurology appointment was setup for Tuesday March 7th
As we anxiously waited for Tuesday to arrive to finally get some answers, an unfortunate event happened. To our knowledge, in the early morning hours my father experienced an intense episode of confusion. During this episode my father woke up from his sleep and walked outside with only a shirt and undergarment on. We do not know how long he was outside in this Minnesota winter, but we estimate it could have been 1 to 2 hours from when he was finally found. He received medical attention immediately and was brought to the ER .
Once there an MRI confirmed he had had a right occipital ischemic attack days prior and that morning a left frontal ischemic attack which caused slight bleeding of the brain. We were told these attacks were the reason for his confusion. The damage these attacks had on his brain caused him to develop vascular dementia. He also had severe frostbite on both his feet and frostnip on his hands. We were given a time frame of 4-8 weeks before reevaluating the condition of his feet and determine what parts of his feet are viable. He will need to be in a rehab facility that can monitor his wound care. He will also need round the clock care as his dementia symptoms persist. He has to be non weight baring but due to his dementia forgets and attempts to walk. This can hinder the recovery on his feet.
We are hoping to raise funds to help him get the care he needs as Insurance only covers so much and as you have read so far my father has a very long road ahead. His recovery is going to be very long and trying to not only him but my mom. My siblings and I have tried to do the best we can, but still so much more is needed so he can get the care he needs. Any funds raised will go to towards my fathers care and any bills they accumulate.
We would like to add on a positive note that my father is a strong man of faith and has continued to praise God through out this journey. He is believing in a full recovery and that this will be his testimony for the honor and glory of God. We greatly appreciate any donation amount but most importantly we ask for continued prayers for strength and complete healing. God Bless!
