Help Esko Heal
Donation protected
On October 22, while hiking in the forest with his mom, Esko was struck by a falling tree branch and the right front of his skull was shattered.
He was life-flighted from St. Joseph’s Hospital and has had to undergo a significant neurosurgery at UCSF Oakland Children’s Hospital. He is in rehab, waiting for the swelling of the brain to go down, and will have at least one more surgery on top of months of rehabilitation.
Brain recovery can take a lifetime. There is potential of not knowing the full extent of his injuries for years, and Matt and Monica are unable to work while caring for Esko. He is stable and improving but there is a long road ahead.
They are uncomfortable asking for help but are in significant need of some funds to help cover the life flight and ongoing cognitive and behavioral therapy for their little boy. Please donate and share if you can.
Any little bit will help and is deeply appreciated.
In gratitude,
The Haynes -Tolley family and their friends.
*Please contact Esko's aunt, Terra Tolley, if you have any additional questions.
