Help Establish Math Opportunities For Students

In 2019, we co-founded the Rastogi Mathemagicians Club to provide local students enthusiastic about mathematics with a place to explore and learn competition math. We started this club to address the lack of in-person STEM opportunities for students in our city of Concord, NH.

 

However, there are still some such opportunities not yet available to the community. Every year, numerous students in our city seek to participate in middle and high school mathematics competitions such as MATHCOUNTS and the AMC (American Mathematics Competitions) 8, 10, and 12. These competitions were integral to our journey in mathematics - they helped us explore our passion for the subject through extracurricular engagement as we practiced for the competition and met like-minded peers in the process. However, the schools in our community are often unable to provide many students with the opportunity to compete due to the lack of proper funding.

 

Through this GoFundMe, we hope to gather the funds to provide local students with the ability to participate in these competitions. Consider donating to help these passionate young minds continue exploring new avenues in mathematics.

 

Every amount raised in this fundraising will help cover the following costs:

- registration fee for different math competitions

- location expenses

- proctor’s fees

- advertising to spread the word about the new opportunities

- transportation to reach more schools/students

- education material necessary for preparing the students for the upcoming exams

- a thank-you gift to all who volunteer their time and effort, such as mentors, teachers, and extra hands.
