Help Estefania Drive Again: Mobility for a Mother of Three
Donation protected
Hi my name is Estefania Martin Del Campo, and I'm reaching out to you for support. I'm a mother of three boys, they are beautiful bundles of joy and chaos aged 15, 5, and 3. Unfortunately, life threw me a curveball when I contracted the West Nile virus from a mosquito bite, leaving me disabled and unable to walk. Despite this, I'm determined to provide the best for my children.
Recently, I achieved a significant milestone by obtaining my driver's license for hand steering. This newfound ability has opened up a world of possibilities for me, especially the chance to drive my kids to school and other essential places. However, my current transportation situation is far from ideal.
I'm hoping to raise $30,000 to buy a used car that is wheelchair accessible (sadly making them more expensive). This car will not only provide me with the freedom and independence I have been wanting but will also make daily tasks like school runs much more manageable. I wont have only public transportation to rely on anymore, which can be a giant pain in the butt with a wheelchair.
In addition to caring for my children, I'm also reaching for my dream of obtaining a degree in Accounting. Education is incredibly important to me, and I refuse to let my disability hinder my goals.
Your contribution, no matter the size, will make a world of difference in our lives. Together, we can help me regain my mobility and ensure that my children have the care and support they deserve.
