Help Estella's Family Get Life-Saving Treatment

Benji and I are extremely fortunate to have a wonderful person named Estella Cruz help us keep our home clean.

Unfortunately last year, Estella's life was turned upside down when her husband Juan Cruz (37 years old) was diagnosed with a rare genetic condition called: Von hippel Lindau. It is characterized by visceral cysts and tumors. Juan has already had 7 tumors in his brain, right ear, left eye, in his kidney removed. He is now in and out of the hospital unable to work leaving Estella to support the family financially (cleaning homes in the day / looking after her husband at night or visiting him at the hospital).

Their son (Wolverine), five of Juan's siblings and 6 of Juan's nephews all suffer from VHL. The symptoms are increasingly getting worse.

UCI Medical Center has been managing the case, and through specialists in Bethesda Maryland has offered cover all medical costs for Juan, his son, siblings and nephews to remove new tumors and do some extensive studies to search for a cure now in November. Unfortunately they don't have the funds to get to Bethesda.

My hope? Together we raise $10,000 to pay for flights / hotels / food for this wonderful family to get the opportunity to get life changing medical treatment.
