Help Ester become a missionary!

Hello! My name is Katelyn, and I created this campaign to help my friend Ester.

She is 19 years old and was accepted at Christian Life College in California, but she does not not have the financial capacity to bear all the costs involved. I am creating this project to help support her initial payments, (the amount raised beyond the initial goal will be used for other payments required at the college).

Now I will tell you a bit about her story:

She was born and raised in a small town in the southern part of Brazil. She was raised in the Pentecostal church by her parents since childhood. By the age of fifteen, she felt the Lord calling her to be a missionary. She always felt the desire to do something great for the kingdom of God throughout her life, although, for a while, her calling was forgotten. As high school graduation approached, she found herself full of doubt and pressured by her family and friends to choose a career and to enroll in a regular university. Her parents were not able to comprehend, and, afterwards, she understood that God allowed her to go through this process of uncertainty purposely. Some time later, after hearing a friend's testimony, God took her back to March 16th, 2019: the day He called her, reminding her of everything. Soon after, the Lord also gave her parents an overview of His call to her life, and at the end of a service, a pastor was used by God to speak and explain to her family the greatness of God’s call on her life. He mentioned that the call was even bigger than herself, and that she would not be able to run from God's calling on her life.

During that time, in Brazil, she joined two different missionary groups coming from the U.S. She helped with supporting YOM (Youth on Missions) from 06/07/2022 to 06/16/2022, as well as AYC (Apostolic Youth Corps) from 08/12/2022 to 08/22/2022.

The Lord had placed in her heart a desire to move to United Stated to study. God had promised He would open the doors, so she started the process, walking by faith. She was looking for a college that would accept her as an international student. Additionally, She desired to study Missiology Concentration, and Chiristian Life College was the perfect choice. After meeting someone who is currently attending CLC, Ester received the help she needed in order to get the enrollment process going. She hurried to get all the requested documents and tests done, including the TOEFL test (an exam that aims to assess an individual's potential to speak and understand English at an academic level, well known for its quality and high level of difficulty.) She studied for one month straight then took the test. After many months of effort, she sent her application.

On December 4, 2023 She received her acceptance letter. Full of excitement, she proceeded on the following steps after acceptation. Later, She realized it was required a down payment to receive the document to begin the visa process. She prayed and began to talk to close friends, fortunately, one gave her the suggestion to create a GoFundMe Project.

This is the purpose of this GoFundMe project, as Ester is beginning to step into the next steps of attending CLC and becoming a missionary. Her purpose on pursuing Missiology Concentration at Christian Life College is to fulfill the will of God to her life. Her desire is to be equipped according to God’s call to her life to be able to go all nations reaching the lost. She hungers to serve the kingdom of God, to be ministered and to minister following His will.

Olá! Criei essa campanha para minha amiga Ester. Ela tem 19 anos e foi aceita no Christian Life College (Faculdade Vida Cristã) na Califórnia, mas não tem condição financeira para arcar com todos os custos envolvidos. Estou criando este projeto para ajudar a sustentar os pagamentos iniciais dela, (o valor arrecadado além da meta inicial será utilizado para outros pagamentos exigidos na faculdade).

Agora vou contar um pouco sobre a história dela:

Ela nasceu e foi criada em uma pequena cidade do sul do Brasil. Desde criança foi levada à igreja pelos pais, aos quinze anos sentiu o Senhor chamando-a para ser missionária. Ela sempre pôde sentir o desejo de fazer algo grande para o reino de Deus através de sua vida, embora Deus a tenha feito esquecer Seu chamado por um tempo. A medida que se aproximava a formatura do Ensino Médio, ela se viu cheia de dúvidas e pressionada por familiares e amigos a escolher uma carreira e a matricular-se em uma universidade regular. Seus pais não estavam conseguindo compreendê-la, mas depois ela entendeu que Deus estava permitindo que ela passasse por esse processo de propósito. Algum tempo depois, após ouvir o testemunho de uma amiga, Deus a levou de volta ao dia 16 de março de 2019, dia em que Ele a chamou, lembrando-a de tudo. Logo depois, o Senhor também deu aos pais dela uma visão geral do Seu chamado para a vida dela. Ao final de um culto, um pastor que a ajudou a superar tudo isso foi usado por Deus para falar e explicar a sua família a grandeza do chamado de Deus para a vida dela. Ele mencionou que o chamado era ainda maior do que ela e que não poderia mais se afastar desse chamado.

Durante o tempo em que ainda está no Brasil, se juntou à dois diferentes grupos de jovens missionários vindos dos EUA. Ajudou no suporte do grupo YOM (Jovens em Missões) de 07/06/2022 a 16/06/2022 (primeira foto abaixo), bem como o AYC (Corpo Apostólico de Jovens) de 12/08/2022 a 22/08/2022 (segundo foto abaixo).

O Senhor colocou em seu coração o desejo de se mudar para os Estados Unidos para estudar. Deus prometeu que abriria as portas, então Ela iniciou todo o processo, caminhando pela fé. Ela estava procurando uma faculdade que a aceitasse como estudante internacional. Além disso, ela desejava estudar Concentração em Missões na faculdade, o Chiristian Life College foi a escolha perfeita. Ela conheceu uma pessoa que também está cursando no CLC, que então, começou a ajudar Ester a dar andamento ao processo de matrícula. Ela se apressou em realizar todos os documentos e testes solicitados, incluindo o teste TOEFL, que consiste em um exame que visa avaliar o potencial de um indivíduo para falar e compreender inglês em nível acadêmico, conhecido por sua qualidade e alto nível de dificuldade. Ela estudou por um mês inteiro e depois fez o teste. Depois de muitos meses de esforço, ela enviou sua inscrição inicial.

Em 4 de dezembro de 2023 ela recebeu sua carta de aceitação na faculdade. Cheia de entusiasmo, ela prosseguiu as etapas seguintes após a aceitação. Mais tarde, ela percebeu que era necessário um adiantamento para receber o documento para iniciar o processo de visto. Ela orou e começou a conversar com amigos próximos, felizmente um deles lhe deu a sugestão de criar um projeto GoFundMe. Ela contatou seus amigos norte-americanos pedindo ajuda e isso agora é uma realidade.

Seu propósito ao buscar concentração em Missões no Christian Life College é cumprir a vontade de Deus para sua vida. Seu desejo é ser equipada de acordo com o chamado de Deus para sua vida, para poder ir à todas as nações alcançando os perdidos através do Evangelho de Cristo. Ela tem fome de servir o reino de Deus, de ser ministrada e de ministrar seguindo a Sua vontade.
